Part of a project to design badges that reflect ourselves as designers (see the Zapfino Duck series.)

Following on from my Baseline project where I had examined how people had used Zapf Dingbats in place of readable text (see Baseline Spreads and Cover), I decided to convert my name into various Dingbat or Object fonts and make an image out of whatever it threw up.

This is the letters of "Val" in Bodoni Objects. It later went on to inspire 2 more designs, Dandelion and Thistle.
